Welcome to the great duel: Vernatsch versus Pinot Noir – two wine legends meet in a glass. In this blind tasting, however, only taste counts because every label remains invisible. Over several rounds, the two characters go head-to-head on the palate: one is a light seducer; the other, a powerful high-flyer. The route leads you directly to a true gem: the idyllic Eichenstein Winery. Once you arrive, the moment for the senses begins with a glass of Eichenstein wine from your personal wine canister. Surrounded by the tranquillity of nature and breathtaking panoramas that make you forget everyday life, the combination of pleasure, romance, and the South Tyrolean sense of life creates a special experience.

The Parcines waterfall is not only a genuine spectacle of nature, but also the perfect backdrop for a special moment of pleasure. So why not take advantage of the magic of this place for an extraordinary wine tasting? With the sound of the waterfall in the background and the fresh mountain air, surrounded by pristine nature, your experience of fine South Tyrolean wines is enhanced. Who has a discerning nose and the finest palate? The aim of this special tasting is to unmask the ‘rule-breakers’ in this selection of wines. There are eight bottles and eight glasses with concealed labels on the table. The challenge: determine whether all the wines originate from the same variety and country. This riddle can only be solved with a keen sense of taste and smell. An enthralling game for every wine aficionado who wants to put their knowledge and palate to the test.

Once a week, Gatschhof opens its doors for a relaxed aperitivo evening in the ‘Gallaria’. This is where art meets nature. Photography and sculptures against the impressive backdrop of rocks and stones create a truly special atmosphere. This also gives the opportunity to get to know the home of noble Arabian horse breeding — a place full of style, character, and unique flair.

A delectable journey of discovery lies ahead. The up-and-coming white wine variety, Kerner, has particularly flourished in the Isarco Valley and is delighting wine connoisseurs and gourmets alike with its aromatic character. This tasting focuses on different interpretations of the grape variety, showcasing wines from various vintners, growing areas and vinification methods.
The experience is accompanied by two or three delicate chestnut-based canapés, which complement Kerner perfectly and highlight the interplay and strength in character of these two elements.

Weisses Kreuz is located right on the Via Claudia Augusta cycle path, making it the perfect starting point for an adventure on two wheels. The route takes you from Resia Pass through the entire Venosta Valley, passing apple trees, castles and vineyards all the way to Merano. Your e-bike whisks you off to a vineyard in the heart of the Venosta Valley, where you can sample the region's finest wines. After this enjoyable break, the group takes the Venosta Valley train back to Malles, and the last 3 km back to the hotel are covered by bike.
In the evening, you'll be reunited with the wines you tasted earlier, but this time as an accompaniment to dinner. A fantastic experience full of pleasure, exercise and the Venosta Valley feeling.
