Vinumhotel Paradies***S

In search of a little paradise, this is just the ticket. Located in a wonderfully quiet area and yet very close to the charming village of Marlengo, Hotel Paradies is a lovely place to feel at home. The Pircher Family would like to extend a heartfelt, friendly welcome.

Mother and daughter, Rosemarie and Elisabeth, are not only passionate hosts, but also avid wine aficionados. As qualified sommeliers, they have both built excellent relationships with the neighbouring winegrowers and are always happy to engage in stimulating wine discussions.

Klaus the father, together with his kitchen team is the personal provider of sustenance for the guests. As head chef of the establishment, he prefers to cook with seasonal produce and local ingredients. Sustainability is of particular importance to the host. A conscious effort is made to ensure that the products used are locally grown and that farmers and winegrowers from the surrounding area are supported. This also ensures that transport distances are kept to a minimum.

Regular food and wine evenings in the company of local vintners allow guests an exciting insight into local wine culture. While enjoying a 5-course dinner with complementing wines, guests are immersed in the world of delicious South Tyrolean cuisine, fine wines and the impressive expertise of the attending winemaker.

You can also while away the time in the special ambience of the newly designed wine cellar. Here, simply select wines to pair with the menu from the wine rack, food and wine culture up close!

Here in Paradies, there's an extra special place for those romantic lovers of wine. Restaurant Vinumgarten invites you to enjoy culinary delights in a wine barrel. Two quaintly snug wine barrels in an enchanting garden await romantics and those who love something out of the ordinary. Up to 6 people can enjoy South Tyrol in this distinctive wine barrel ambience; choose between breakfast in the morning or an Alpine-Mediterranean menu with wines from selected local vintners in the evening.

Klaus Pichler has an exclusive delicacy for sweet-toothed gourmets: Marling wine chocolates. A singular symbiosis of finest chocolate with high-quality wine and grappa.

The chocolates are lovingly handcrafted by the host himself. A melt-in-the-mouth delight of chocolate with a Merlot by Andreas Menz from Popphof, a Passito by Erwin Eccli from Pardellerhof and a grappa from Unterthurner, a private distillery. Hotel Paradies is a little holiday home with family care and warm hospitality.
