• Imagine living on a desert island with one wine and one dish - which wine and dish would you choose?

 “If it's just going to be one meal, then preferably a magnum of a nice Merlot and a good piece of meat. I could live with that for a while.”

• What was the funniest or most memorable comment that a guest ever made about a wine?

One very interesting comment from a guest was: 'Never buy just one bottle of wine, because you'll never drink it. Get at least three, then you can drink one and still have two bottles left.

• Is there a little tradition or ritual at the hotel that you particularly like?

 “Yes, the daily contact with the guests, from which a lot of friendships have emerged.”
