In Neumarkt and Montan, the Pinot Noir is tasted and awarded every year.
The South Tyrolean Pinot Noir Days are unique in Italy and pay homage to the "king of red wines". They take place in the Blauburgunder wine villages of Neumarkt and Montan. The noble grape variety has been cultivated here with great success since the middle of the 19th century. An international jury will judge the participating Pinot Noirs, which can then be tasted by the public.
