Hotel Spitalerhof

Klausen, at the heart of the Eisack Valley is truly a charming little town. All around Klausen you will find chestnut groves, vineyards and forests for long pleasurable walks. And with your guest card you also have the opportunity to visit other small, private wineries and distilleries in the surroundings and to taste good Eisack Valley wines.

Quality is embedded in the vineyard and not in the cellar. Craftsmanship is a matter of course in the Spitalerhof vineyard. In order to improve on the quality of the grapes, over the years, winegrowers have focussed on the strict yield limits and the systematic transition from classical Pergola method training to modern the Guyot method using wire-frames, in which the vines compete with each other to promote quality.

In Spitalerhof you will be spoiled with Mediterranean and Alpine dishes. In summer, there is ample fresh produce from our own vegetable garden - a real taste experience. Junior kitchen chef Michael and Claudia conjure up elaborate dishes of quality, using regional elements and other ingredients. The sumptuous breakfast buffet with muesli, homemade jams, juices, teas and much more is served to you by senior partner Günther himself.
